Jolly Hobbies Arts and Craft Fair

I love nice craft fairs - and this craft fair is nice. Hornsey Parish Church Hall is a stones throw from Crouch End, at the bottom of Muswell Hill and Alexandra Palace and is the most ideal place for a fair such as this. It has been running since September and will continue into the new year thank goodness. The lovely ladies Ako Kivanc, who runs the stylish shop Forms in Camden Lock and textile artist Yasu Hasegawa (creator of gorgeous felted art pieces, in lovingly handmade frames) organise the events and are very gracious hosts indeed. We had a great time at the fair on 17th December, our last fair before Christmas. There was delicious food from the fabulously named Hungry Wolf and there was tea and jewellery and cards and cushions AND PARKING just outside!. We sat next to Tanya from Strikk, who amuses us greatly with her worldly charm and wicked sense of humour. Strikk's knits are of the highest quality and style - lush, thick, cosy knitted hotwater covers, blankets and cushions. We look forward to seeing you all again in 2012.

 

Of Cabbages and Kings Market

Did the Stoke Newington Market on Saturday and it was brilliant!! Jessica and Sanna always create a wonderful environment for shoppers and stall holders alike. Thanks ladies. Anyway Claire and I had a great day, lots of lovely people and pressies to buy.

We will be at the Of Cabbages and Kings Christmas market in Stoke Newington on Saturday 3rd December. Come on down and have a look at us, there will be loads of great designers and merriment . Can't wait.

Thames Festival - Craft Trail

London Clay Birds and thequiet revolution will be selling our wares with the Lovely Sanna Panda and Friends on Saturday and Sunday. Looks like it'll be a very exciting event indeed.

Craft Market Crouch End!

Hurray - a craft market in Crouch End... alright Hornsey...potato tomato. I'm sure there have been craft events in crouch end before now but not with us in them. Until now, well this Saturday. If you find yourself in North London, we're pretty much at the bottom of Muswell Hill and Alexander Palace, off Park Road. Join us.

I would also like to mention that the event is raising money for the Japanese Red Cross.
